Reiki Healing With Crystals
Rei (spiritual wisdom) and Ki (life energy), in simple terms, is a form of energy healing.
A practitioner will use their Reiki attunement to connect to and act as a vessel for healing Universal Energy.
Their hands are placed lightly on the body or within the auric field, moving throughout the body. The universal energy intuitively knows where to go. Reiki can balance and clear blockages in your meridians, chakras, or energy centers of your body.
Crystals and Reiki
Introducing crystals into a Reiki session amplifies the healing and clearing process.
A Reiki healer will usually place a crystal grid on or around the body during a session — acting as little ‘tuning forks’ for the energy.
In virtual Reiki sessions, the crystal grid is placed on or around the tapestry that acts as a conduit for the healing energy (more on how that works here). And just like the virtual Reiki energy, the healing effects of the crystals are not bound by time or space. They can be felt anywhere in the world.
Crystals will be chosen depending on their healing properties and what is needed by the client. This is done intuitively or is chosen in correspondence with their Chakra colors.
Popular crystals used in Reiki Crystal Healing sessions include Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Citrine, Aventurine, Carnelian, Malachite, Red Jasper, and Obsidian.
During a session, a client may feel slight physical sensations, an emotional purge, or nothing at all.
